LabStats requires a base server cost, and is then licensed per client computer. Your license is in the form of a number, or key, which you enter in the Web Admin program. After entering your key, LabStats will track usage for the number of computers you have licensed.

UserTracker is included with LabStats, and does not require any additional purchase.

LabMaps and JuicePress are licensed separately and require additional license keys. Pricing is per client, just like LabStats. You can purchase LabMaps or JuicePress licenses anytime for any amount, and you will receive a separate key for activation. No extra installation is necessary to use theese plugins, since they are included in the LabStats package. Your license keys will simply activate the software for use.

AppUse also requires a separate license key, but must be purchased to match the number of LabStats licenses on your server.

Here are the basics about licensing:
Updates Updates are considered any releases within the same major version. If you buy version 2.3, for example, you get any 2.x versions for free.
Upgrades Upgrades are considered major version changes. For example, moving from version 3.1 to 4.0 is considered an upgrade. Upgrades are also free if you have current maintenance.
Adding Licenses You can add licenses at any time, with a minimum of 10 licenses per add. After purchasing additional licenses, you will be issued a new key, which will enable your new total amount of client computers.
